BFF's

These past few months have brought a lot of changes with them.  One of these changes being that my baby (well not really baby...she is almost 5 after all..) had to make the transition from daycare into kindergarten.  This meant leaving her bestest friend in the whole world, who she's know since just after her first birthday, and this was devastating!  Not a day passed for 3 months straight without her asking if she could see her cherished friend.  I made the horrible mistake of not ensuring that I had her friend's phone number...not my best mommy moment, but I was delighted when we happened to run into them at a local store.  The two girls were literally rolling on the floor together and jumping up and down and her mom and I were pretty close to tears at the sight of it.  We made sure to share numbers and these photos are just a few of my favorites from their first post-daycare-play date!  I am so happy that my baby has her BFF back!

A---Maternity Session

Pregnancy is such a beautiful and unique time for a woman.  I have been blessed to have been there twice before and I absolutely adore photographing new mommas-to-be.  This is this special momma-to-be's first pregnancy, but she is definitely not new to being a 'mom'.  I had the pleasure of photographing her and her gorgeous step kiddos last year and I have to say, they are one cute family!  I'm pleased to share these photos of what I think is the perfect pregnant belly!! (can't wait to hear what baby is!)



Tis the season!

I know that the leaves are only just starting to change colour, but the holiday season quickly approaches.  Why not check one more item off of your to do list?  I would like to make preparing for the holidays easier for you by offering personalized Christmas cards!  All you need do is book your session, have your family's photos taken, pick a colour scheme and whether you'd like black and white or colour photos and I will do the rest!  Happy Holidays!! A new journey begins

Well it's official.  I have a child that's in school.  My first born.  My strong willed princess.  My baby daughter.  She was so ready for this day to come; she's been so excited to meet new friends, a new teacher and to learn.  I was so proud as she had her 'interview' with her teacher; so much confidence and intelligence in such a small package.  I feel so lucky to have such an amazing little girl and I am now ready for this journey to begin!



Little lady E

Almost a year ago, I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing an adorable little girl for her 1 year photos.  I had the honor of once again getting together for a session with this beautiful toddler.  I love being given the chance to see children grow and with each session and each photo, the changes become more and more evident.  Miss E has a very sweet spirit and a smile that lit up her cute-as-a-button face.  I couldn't help but to get lost in her amazing eyes and inquisitive stare.  And now, once again, I bring you Miss E!  (oh, and a special thanks to E's mom for helping with the props that just didn't want to co-operate!)
